ALL THE WAY TO BA---Top speed on the highway,
north towards the Capital. Racers zig zag through
traffic up the Nuevo de Julio, widest avenue in the
world. A beautiful sunny fall day, far far far from
Cartagena in the tropical Norte. A heroes welcome
at the ACA - Automovil Club Argentina.
Of thirty survivors, fifteen vehicles qualify as having
finished, about 12% of those who started.
TEAM VENEZUELA, in a Toyota Land Cruiser is Number One !
TEAM COLOMBIA is Number Two !
The next few days are partying at the Hotel Plaza,
eating and shopping Avenue Florida.

The Trans Amazon Rallye was a once in a lifetime
experience.It never ran again, although there were
a few attempts by French and Japanese interests in
1989 and 1990.
As this is the first in the Travel Adventure
Series, I'd like to know what you thought and
